Teaching aims By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: 1. Teaching procedures: Stage1 Getting ready Teacher greets students with simple communication. Listen to a music related to the topic of language.

Learn the two words:mandarin,dialect Stage2 Pre-reading. 1.Question: Which language is used most widely? Which countries are English-speaking countries around the world? (If time allows, let student finish it. )
